Selecting an item from dropdown
04/29/16 at 14:23:27

Hi,

I'm trying to select an item from a drop down but am having a lot of difficulties.  I have read up on the 4 steps process on this forum by capturing data to a, then creating an event b to get the data but it doesn't seem to work with this particular drop down.  The drop down could be found at: https://www.saia.com/RequestQuote.aspx and all I'm trying to do is select "LTL Quote" from the drop down.  I'd appreciate any help anyone can provide.  Thanks in advance!

Sorry I am not able to open the page you mentioned.  But if you only want to select one item, you can try these options:

1. use SetInput(InputName, InputValue) to set the selection value.

2. use SetAttribute(Htql, AttributeName, AttributeValue) to set the dropdown option's selected attributed as 1.

3. refer https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/how-automatically-select-angularjs-dropdown-menu-irobot-irobotsoft?trk=mp-author-card
if your website has a lot of javascript.

Thank you for the reply.  I was having difficulty because I couldn't figure out the name for the drop down.  I also link the wrong url.  It should be http://www.saia.com/RequestQuote.aspx.  I have figured out that I could go directly to the option I want by adjusting the url itself to select the option needed but if you have time, I'd love to be educated on how to do so with irobot.  Thank you!
